A reminder that tomorrow, 8th May is a holiday to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of VE Day. While I’m sure this will not be the usual long weekend for children (all the days merging into one is quite a familiar feeling at the moment) I hope that everyone is able to enjoy some fun time and that the weather holds for a bit too. No work has been set for tomorrow and there is no need to register.

Following the Easter egg competition, I discussed with the teachers whether they thought you would all like another challenge. As it is the long weekend, I am going to set you a den building challenge. Send in your pictures to me at kerrie.laird@glenurquharthigh.org.uk of your dens. These can be made out of anything, be inside or outside – the only rule is you have to be able to fit inside. I’ll then put all the pictures together again and post them for everyone to see.
