A reminder we have our open forum tomorrow in the school hall at 9am. This is a chance to pop in for a cuppa and have an informal chat with the HT, Kerrie Laird. Little ones can join you should you wish.

We are really proud to display both following all our work towards achieving this.

Our next meeting will be our AGM this Thursday, 12th September at 6.30pm in the P7 classroom.  We would encourage you to come along and join us so that we can continue the great partnership work we have established between parents and school.  Many parents left at the end of last session as their children moved on to High School. Without three office bearers in post, the Parent Council will be disbanded.

I was hugely proud of our P6-7 football team and their efforts at the football league on Friday.  Their sportsmanship and teamwork were true reflections of our school vision and values with everyone celebrating each other’s achievements.  Well done all!

We had a super day today with the Dramabox company completing workshops with all the children then training with the staff after school. Everyone is looking forward to using the ideas and developing drama skills and creativity with the children throughout this session.

GlenUrquhart Horticultural Society’s Annual Flower Show takes place on Saturday 31st August at Blairbeg Hall. Entries can be handed into Miss MacDonald on Friday morning if you are unable to enter on Saturday morning. The Flower Show is open to the public from 3pm. Admission Adults £1 and children 50p. Refreshments available so if you fancy an afternoon cuppa pop down to the Hall!

Mrs Tree has asked me to let everyone know that Athletics will now start on Thursday, 5th September and not this week as first intended.
