Double Wow!

I am thrilled to share that I was contacted by Education Scotland today to say that we have been shortlisted for not one but, two of the Scottish Education Awards 2020 – ‘Children and Young People’s Partipation’ and ‘Learning for Sustainability’.  We are absolutely astounded and delighted for Glenurquhart Primary and all the work our children, staff, parents and partners put in.  A big well done to everyone!  Our second visit with be on the 24th April – a week to really show how amazing Glenurqhart is!

Woo hoo!

I am delighted to announce that we were notified today that Glenurquhart Primary has been shortlisted for the ‘Children and young People’s Participation’ award in the Scottish Education Awards 2020. This is a huge achievement for our school and we look forward to welcoming the judging panel on 23rd April and demonstrating our work in this area alongside parents and partners that the school has worked with.

Permissions and ticket requests for “Pirates of the Curry Bean”

Thank you to the families who have returned their permission slips and ticket orders.

Please could we get these back from everyone as soon as possible? We are waiting on permissions and ticket orders from more than 30 families.

There are a lot of families waiting to hear if they can have a third ticket for Tuesday night!

Many thanks,

Miss Mullin and the P7 ticketing team.

Parent Meetings

It was great to see all our parents at our meetings over the last two days.  Thank you to all those that added their comments and thoughts to the various items we had out on display.  These have now been collated and the comments along with feedback and action points from them can be found in the ‘Our School’ and then ‘School Improvement and Evaluation’ section of the website.  We will use these to plan improvements over next term and the coming session.
Thank you also to those who took part in the walking bus survey.  These results are currently being considered and we will decide on the best route for our trial of this next term.

Newsletter

The end of February newsletter was issued today and can be found in the ‘For Parents’ section of the website. This contains important information on our upcoming ‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’ performance as well as, parent meetings next week.
