Congratulations to Balmacaan who were this term’s house winners. They have earned points for manners, warm and welcoming greetings and using the foreign language phrases of the week.

The Celebrations Committee voted today for what the reward would be and they have chosen Chromebook time. This will be awarded tomorrow.

A reminder to return sponsor money ASAP.  We have only had returns from around half the families in the school.  We appreciate as much support for this as possible.

Throughout this week, the classes have been presenting their posters that they made in relation to Creativity, as set by the Pupil Learning Council. P1-3 looked at ‘What is Creativity?’, P4-6 looked at ‘How do we show Creativity?’ and P7 looked at ‘Why is Creativity important?’ Each of the stages made a poster and shared it with the whole school during assembly times.

My apologies to any parents and children who turned up for Badminton at the High School last night. We are currently awaiting confirmation of a start date for this. It is great that we have interest and I’m sorry for any wasted journeys. I’ll let you know as soon as I have a date for starting.

We took part in Ness Book Fest, with all P1-6 children reading their own books after Mrs Laird read them a story that encouraged their Creativity.

It was lovely to see our parents and families at our parent meetings this week.  The feedback given on the sheets around the hall has been collated and suggested next steps from this detailed.  This is available on the ‘School Improvement and Evaluation’ page in the ‘Our School’ section of the website.
